During summer vacation, I’m basically making text for my day time classes. It takes a long time to make it because it becomes close to 200 pages. I’ve made 10 texts so far and the next fall will be my 11th text. To tell you the truth, I get stressed making texts all day. That’s why, I usually go out of the house to change how I feel. These days, I like going to Starbucks at Meijo Koen. I can walk around the park and I can work at Starbucks. The layout of that Starbucks is really nice. It’s spacious and it’s bright inside. I like working there.

Today I would like to write about an useful app on your cell phone. Personally, I like using an app called “Evernote” . It’s a pretty popular app. Have you ever had problem with organizing documents? Paper you can’t throw away because you might need that information. However if you keep all those documents, your desk is full of documents! With Evernote, you can take pictures of them and store it in the Cloud system. It’s really convenient. For example, when I get a business card from someone, I take a picture of it on Evernote. It’s easy to find when you need that information. My desk should be organized because I have Evernote, right? WRONG! It’s still messy!!

I might have gotten a frozen should (四十肩). I just turned 41 couple of days ago so I guess it’s a late birthday present. 🙁 Actually, it’s not bad. I can still raise my arms but sometimes it hurts. I think it’s because I’m on the computer making texts for many hours everyday. Today, I took time out to research how to fix a frozen shoulder. Basically, the You Tube instructors are telling me to stretch a lot.
I also put on 1.5 kg. I think it’s because I’m sitting most of the day. I’m looking forward to class starting because if I keep this up I’m going to be very unhealthy!!

I’m back at work. It’s the first class in a week. Many students came today and the topic was “Why are you studying English?”. It’s interesting to hear the stories of students’ lives. When students tell me their stories, it makes me happy. The better the students’ English gets, the more interesting it becomes to listen to them.
By the way, I got new shoes today. I usually don’t wear expensive shoes but a student gave me gift certificate so I decided to get expensive shoes. The brand is called REGAL. They are very shiny and beautiful.

In the morning, my sister called me and we talked for an hour. I told her my shoulder has been hurting and I might have a frozen shoulder. She is an acupuncturist and she told me I should get an acupuncture. After I hung up, I googled an acupuncturist in Sakae. I found one that’s open until 10 pm so I made a reservation. I’ve had an acupuncture before so I knew that it wouldn’t hurt. However, this time some areas hurt pretty badly. The therapist did it for about 40 minutes and he told me to sit at the edge of the bed. He told me I’ll put the last needle close to your neck. He did it and when he took out the needle, I started feeling dizzy and suddenly I fainted!! I kind of remember my body was shaking uncontrollably. When I woke up, the therapist was holding me so I would not fall off the bed. He said, 「びっくりした！！」. I thought I’m the one to say that!! I’m not sure why I fainted but I felt really week after the therapy. Hmmm … I wonder if acupuncture is not good for me.
