Tuesday, January 8th 2019 “Making Pasta”
During winter break, I got into making pasta. I can now make 5 kinds of pasta really well. I messed up a couple of times but I got better at it. First one I made was Peperoncino. I already knew how to make that but I didn’t know how to make it like a pro. I watched a YouTube video that taught me how to make it well. The key was to put a lot of salt when you boil pasta. It makes a huge difference!!!! I realized that simple things you do can make a big difference in cooking.
I also tried making Tarako Spaghetti. First time I made it, I put salt in the boiling water. That was a big mistake because the Tarako is already pretty salty so my pasta turned out really salty. The second time I made it, it was perfect. Now, I want to buy a stainless frying pan for cooking pasta. The pros use that frying pan for cooking pasta. I want to use it as well. I guess you can call me pasta meister!

Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 “Carpet and wallpaper”
During Winter break, I met with a real estate agency. I had already paid the deposit money for the new building that we’ll be moving into in April. Therefore, I had to choose the carpet and the wallpaper. My favorite color is navy blue so I picked that color for the carpet. As for the wallpaper, I wanted it white, but just plain white is boring so I picked one with a little bit of design.
They made me choose from 50 types of wallpaper. Most of them were all white with minor differences. I had a hard time choosing it but I finally decided on one.
I hope it looks good. In March, the room will go under construction. I hope you’ll like the new place.

Sunday, January 13th, 2019 “Staying warm”
I don’t know about you but I can’t focus when I’m too cold or too hot. My room tends to get really cold. That’s why I got an awesome device. It’s made by Dyson and it’s a fan that blows hot and cold air. Of course, not at the same time. That would be completely pointless. You can change it between hot air and cold air with a switch of a button. With this device, I don’t need to use an air-conditioner. I think it uses less electricity than an air conditioner. I haven’t got the bill yet so I’m not really sure. I also wear Star Wars slippers and Star Wars blanket. Yeah, I’m a Star Wars fan. I got them at Uniqlo a while back. Uniqlo slippers feel really soft. They are the best slipper I’ve had. You gotta get them.
