Monday, September 23rd. “Waipio Valley”
Today we took a tour down Waipio Valley. The history behind Waipio valley is that the kings of Hawaii lived there. The scenery was magnificent, and it was the most interesting tour I’ve been on. The guide was really knowledgeable and he took his time to explain to us the history and culture of the place. He also told us how to really enjoy the beautiful nature. For example, he explained to us about the vegetation of that area. We felt, smelled and tasted the things that grow there. I had a great experience.
