Thursday, September 20th “Karintou Manjyu”

I found a product that I really like.  It’s called Karintou Manjyu.  First of all, I love Karintou.  I realized that the reason I like Karintou is because I love the taste of black sugar.  I’m sometimes slow to realize why I like something.  For example, I love green curry more than anything and I realized later the reason why was because I love the taste of coconuts.

 Anyway, I found Karintou Manjyu at Seven Eleven, my favorite convenience store, and when I ate it I was surprised how good it was.  It was crispy on the outside and soft inside!  It made me want to eat one more but when I looked at the calorie, it was 200 calories!  I love food but I’m also a health nut.  I need to watch what I eat.  You should definitely try Karintou Manjyu of Seven Eleven.  I guarantee you’ll like it!

Monday, October 1st

End of the year is approaching.  I’m sure it’s true with many of you too that end of the year is super busy.  The new semester started today and I’m in class most of the day.  I have a bit of time between classes that I can work. During that time,  I think about ways to improve my curriculum or improve the school.  I think when we try to do our best within a limited time, we do our best work.  

Recently I finished reading a Japanese book called “Kimino Suizowo Tabetai”. It made me think about how short life is.  It was a good book.  I was inspired by it.  

Wednesday, October 3rd.

A student of mine gave me a nice gift after they read my blog entry about Karintou Manjyu.  It’s from a shop in Toyota.  It was super delicious.  It was better than the one I bought at seven eleven.  It was really crusty on the outside and soft inside.  The texture was really nice.  It was suggested that I should put it in the oven toaster and eat it.  I’ll try that tomorrow morning.  I’m kind of excited to try it tomorrow.  Simple things make me happy.
