Monday, September 30th. “Small incident”
When I was in Hawaii, I rented a car. It was a really big American car. I liked driving it. There was one small incident though. We dropped off the students at the airport and I was about to return the car. My car was parked and there was one big van that backed up into my right side of the car. The van scratched my rental car. I was in a rush since students were waiting for me so I really got frustrated. If you ever drive abroad, please make sure you do three things when you get in an accident.
1. Take a picture of the license plate.
2. Take a picture of the license of the driver.
3. Take a picture of their insurance forms
The whole process took less than 5 minutes. I gave that information to the rental car dealer and I was able to return to my students quickly. In the end, everything turned out ok.
