Thursday, January 23rd  “Vietnamese food”

Last weekend, I had a New Year’s party for my day time class.  After that, I decided to eat out.  I thought about where to go.  I’d been wanting to check out a Vietnamese restaurant I happened to find online.  It had a good review and people said it was an authentic Vietnamese food.   I love eating Pho and Ban Mi so I was looking forward to going there. 

 When I went there, there was a line despite the fact that it was 3:00 pm.  I didn’t have to wait long to get in.  The restaurant was shabby, but just as I expected, the food was excellent.  I ordered Pho, spring roll, and vegetable with a gizzard.  They were all amazing.  I didn’t have a chance to try the Ban Mi even though they had it.  I have to go back there next time to try it.

日記の訳

週末に昼のクラスの新年会を開きました。そのあと、食べに行くことを決めました。どこに行こうか考えました。以前から行きたかったネットで見つけたベトナム料理屋に決めました。レビューがよく、本番のベトナム料理が食べられると言っていました。フォーとバンミーが大好きです。楽しみにしていました。

行った時に、15:00みも関わらず列がありました。待ち時間はそれほど長くありませんでした。レストランはみすぼらしい感じでしたが、期待通り味は最高でした。フォー、春巻き、砂肝と野菜を注文しました。全て最高でした。バンミーはあったのですが注文しませんでした。次回はバンミーを試さなければ。
