Monday, June 27th.  “My favorite restaurant”

I went out to eat for the first time in 3 months. 

There was a restaurant I had been wanting to go to. 

It’s called Midtown BBQ in Fushimi. 

They serve American style BBQ.

What I really like about this place is the food and the atmosphere. 

It’s a perfect place to have a get together with your friends. 

The restaurant recently relocated and it’s right along the Horikawa. 

You can actually sit outside right next to the river. 

It feels like you are in a foreign country.  

The food was really big so you could share it with your friends. 

I didn’t order it but they also have Wagyu brisket. 

That’s what I would like to try next time!  

Have you heard of Brisket? Brisket is the lower chest of the beef. 

It’s actually a pretty hard part of the meat but if you cook it at low temperature for a long time it becomes really tender. 

The state of Texas in America is famous for BBQ Brisket. 

Someday, I would like to go to Texas to try the real Texas-style Brisket. 

For now, I’ll be happy eating Wagyu Brisket at Midtown BBQ!  Check it out.

3ヶ月ぶりに外食に行きました。伏見にあるミッドタウンBBQと言うレストランに前から行きたかったのです。アメリカ流のBBQを提供しています。このレストランの何が好きかと言うと、食べ物と雰囲気です。友達と集まるのに最適な場所です。このレストランは最近移転し、今は堀川の横にあります。外に席があり、川沿い座ることができます。外国にいるような気分になります。

食べ物はとても大きく友達とシャアすることができます。今回は注文をしなかったのですが、和牛ブリケットもあります。今度はそれを注文したいです。

ブリスケットは聞いたことがありますか？ブリスケットは牛の前股です。部位の中でも固い場所なのですが、長時間、低音で調理するととても柔らかくなります。アメリカのテキサス州ではブリスケットが有名です。いつかテキサスに行き本番のブリスケットを食べてみたいです。今はMidtown BBQで和牛ブリスケットを食べれれば幸せです。
