Don’t you think it will be cool if you could talk about business in English? I think people who can speak about business in Japanese or English are really awesome. Let me introduce a cool business word. 

For example, “a unique selling point” is a cool word.  All company has something that’s different from other competitors. It makes them unique and stand out.  For example, what is the unique selling point of Toyota Cars?  I think they are the most reliable cars in the world.  Or, what is the unique selling point of Yoshinoya?  They sell the cheapest and most delicious beef bowls in Japan.  

All company has some kind of uniques selling point.   I also want to make my English school a unique one.  If anyone would like to learn business English, you should attend Ben’s class on January 9~12th.  Our unique selling point is you can learn core business ideas and improve your English at the same time.  It’s really killing two birds with one stone. ビジネスについて英語で話せれるとカッコイイと思いませんか？　日本語でも、英語でもビジネスについて話せれる人を凄いと思います。　かっこいいビジネス用語を紹介します。

例えば、USPという言葉があります。全ての会社には競合と違った何かがあります。それがユニークで人目につくものです。例えば、トヨタ車のUSPはなんでしょう？　私はトヨタ車はこの世で最も信頼できる車だと思います。また、吉野家のUSPはなんでしょう？　最も安く、美味しい牛丼を売っている店です。

英会話のコツ

ビジネス英会話、日常英会話でも言語には様々な言葉や表現があります。初心者にとってそのたくさんの数の単語を覚えるのは大変です。覚える単語と、捨てる単語を区別しなければいけません。ネイティブ講師の中にはネイティブしか使わないフレーズを教える人もいますが、私はより汎用性がある言葉しか教える気になりません。なぜならば、基礎がないと簡単なことも表現できないからです。もし、ある程度英語ができるようになり、より自分の英語に磨きを掛けたいのならば、そのようなフレーズもいいかもしれません。まずは基礎の単語で英語を表現できるようにしましょう。
